Michael Douglas To Make First Appearance at Rhode Island Comic Con

Rhode Island Comic Con 2026 in Providence, Rhode Island, will feature a first-ever convention appearance from Michael Douglas. The event will be held Nov. 6-8 at the Rhode Island Convention Center, Amica Mutual Pavilion, in Providence.

According to a report by the website Art Threat, the 81-year-old Hollywood legend will not only headline the convention but also hold autograph signings and photo opportunities on Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7. Convention hours are Friday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Douglas is a two-time Academy Award winner with a career spanning major roles in iconic films. His acting and producing credits include Wall Street, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction, Ant-Man, Behind the Candelabra, and The Kominsky Method.

Billed as "the biggest show in the smallest state," Rhode Island Comic Con features celebrity guests, an artists' alley with vendors, cosplay, and specialty attractions, such as gaming tournaments and after-parties.

Officials note that convention tickets for the event are expected to sell out quickly. They urge fans to buy them in advance on the event website.
