Polar Park in Worcester has a suite of new fan-experience upgrades this year. The changes feature new food and drink venues, value deals, and attractions to enhance the game-day experience for fans.

OVG, the park's food and beverage partner, overhauled menus with fresh options, value deals, and family-friendly pricing to boost concessions offerings.

According to a Patch of Worcester report, a new concession stand named "Nacho Nacho Man" opened atop the Worcester Wall. This venue serves barbecue-inspired items like loaded nachos, tacos, and specialties such as Mac Attack and a loaded jumbo hot dog with barbecue toppings.

Classic food offerings include the DCU Club Buffet, with a rotating all-you-can-eat menu for $26; Smiley Meals for kids younger than 10; and $5 16-ounce draft beers throughout the park.

The Worcester Wall area was refreshed by replacing decomposed granite with new pavers. It also got rebranded as the Polar Park Patio, creating a brighter, more welcoming outdoor space for guests.

The Hanover Deck also received its share of upgrades, including a protective canopy, overhead heaters, new televisions, and drink rails, highlighted by a ribbon-cutting during an Opening Day preview event.

Additionally, a new Citgo sign has been installed at the park to honor Fenway Park in Boston and add a nostalgic touch to the venue.

The Patch noted that Robert Malone, senior vice president of ballpark operations and facilities, and his staff took time during the off-season to plan and execute projects to enhance the fan experience at Polar Park.

The sixth season of Worcester Red Sox baseball opened on March 27 at Polar Park.
