The Burlington Mall in Burlington, Massachusetts, has announced a significant 2026 expansion project to transform the property into a premier lifestyle destination that blends dining, retail, and entertainment.

The plan features first-to-Massachusetts concepts and a mix of nationally recognized brands with experiential attractions to draw visitors.

Dining

Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar will debut in Massachusetts this summer, marking its 12th location at the Burlington Mall and serving as a culinary anchor for the expansion.

In addition to Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar, more food options include Wonder, a dining concept already open at The Village. Wonder will offer a unique experience, with menus crafted by renowned chefs such as Bobby Flay, José Andrés, and Marcus Samuelsson.

More dining concepts to come include Waffle & Bagel (opening by early summer) and Soup Zen Hot Pot (debuting in late fall) to broaden the food lineup.

Retail

Champs Sports will relocate to a larger upper-level space in May, and Bissinger's Handcrafted Chocolates will open its first Massachusetts outpost at the Burlington Mall this summer.

Retail additions include Mavi's first Massachusetts location, gorjana's jewelry line, and Vuori's activewear, expanding the property's fashion and lifestyle offerings.

Entertainment and Leisure Activities

Entertainment and hands-on experiences will expand with the launch this summer of Game Show Battle Rooms for live game-show-style competitions. The Craft Loft will open in May for adult-focused workshops, such as candle-making and rug tufting.

“We are especially proud to introduce a strong mix of first-to-Massachusetts and highly sought-after concepts,” said Lauren Dalis, the mall's director of marketing and business development, in a statement shared with the Boston Real Estate Times. “This next wave of openings reflects our commitment to creating a destination where shopping, dining, and entertainment come together in a meaningful and exciting way.”
