If you want to catch the Boston Red Sox this season, broadcast and streaming services have you covered. The challenge is knowing where to look.
Writing for The Boston Globe, Chad Finn breaks down what fans need to know.
First, NBCUniversal/Peacock returns as a primary partner for the 2026 Boston Red Sox broadcast rights, taking over the Sunday night prime-time slot with four Sunday night Red Sox games and additional Peacock telecasts. The Sunday night games will be June 14 vs. the Rangers, June 28 vs. the Yankees, and Aug. 2 vs. the Dodgers. A game against the Giants on Sunday, Aug. 23, will be found on NBC and Peacock, which already has a Sunday night game on July 5 vs. the Angels.
While ESPN will no longer host Sunday Night Baseball, it will still air about 30 MLB games this season. ABC is scheduled to carry three games. The Red Sox have two ESPN games (Thursday, May 7, vs. the Rays, and Wednesday, Sept. 23, vs. the Guardians) and one ABC game (Saturday, June 27, vs. the Yankees).
Six Saturday Red Sox games are set to air on Fox Sports, which remains the home of the World Series. These games are April 11 (Cardinals), June 6 (Yankees), Aug. 22 (Giants), Aug. 29 (Yankees), Sept. 5 (Orioles), and Sept. 26 (Cubs). FS1 is committed to two Red Sox games: April 23 (Yankees) and July 11 (Mets).
TBS will carry Tuesday night games on April 21 (Yankees) and May 26 (Braves). AppleTV has Friday night games, including an April 17 matchup between the Red Sox and Tigers. Additionally, the MLB Network will have several games.
Finally, NESN will also broadcast some games.
In total, Red Sox games will be carried across nine different channels or services this season.
