The Middlesex Conservation District has announced it will host a spring plant sale at Minuteman High School, 758 Marrett Road in Lexington. Hours are Friday, May 1, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In-person pickup is required; all items can be pre-ordered through Friday, April 24, with first-come, first-served purchases on the sale days. Online ordering for the sale is available through the district's website.

According to a westfordcat.org report, the sale will focus on native plant offerings — shrubs, wildflowers, ferns, and grasses — and garden hard goods like plant labels. Native plants will be available for purchase, including northern maidenhair fern, foam flower, red columbine, and spotted bee balm.

Proceeds from the sale will support the district's educational programs and activities focused on soil and water resource conservation.

For more information about the plant sale, email the Middlesex Conservation District administrator or call 978-303-8272. Individuals who want to volunteer for the plant sale by packing orders and assisting customers can complete a volunteer form online.
