Jon Keller, a longtime WBZ-TV political analyst, is returning to WBZ as a “special contributor” after being laid off last fall. He will resume his role as a political analyst and moderate major debates for the station.

Keller came back to WBZ on Monday, March 16, and will now appear during WBZ's early evening news broadcasts, according to an editor's note that appeared under Keller's MASSterList column for the State House News Service.

According to Boston.com, his Keller At Large interview show will return this Sunday, March 22, at 8:30 a.m., with Gov. Maura Healey as the guest. He will continue his MASSterList weekly column and occasionally contribute to Boston magazine.

As Boston.com noted, Keller was laid off along with four other WBZ employees in October 2025, after Skydance Media bought the station's parent company, Paramount.

Keller first joined WBZ in 2005 after 14 years at WLVI-TV. He is a 12-time Emmy winner.
