A beloved Boston restaurant has received newfound recognition for prime rib in Massachusetts.

In its review of the best prime rib restaurants across the country, Tasting Table named SAVR in Boston as a standout specialty.

Since its opening at 150 Seaport Blvd. in Boston's Seaport District in 2023, SAVR, short for Spirited American Bistro, has featured a 16-ounce slow-roasted prime rib served with horseradish and au jus, priced at $69.

Chef Daniel Kenney, executive chef at the Lenox Hotel, lauds SAVR's prime rib. In an article published on TravelingLifestyle.net, he noted, “The one-pound slice of perfectly cooked beef wouldn't be over-the-top great without the roasting juices au jus that SAVR serves alongside.”

In addition to its slow-roasted prime rib, SAVR also features a Prime Rib French Dip sandwich on its brunch and lunch menus. The sandwich features thinly sliced prime rib with horseradish aioli and au jus for dipping.

Beyond prime rib, SAVR's menu includes appetizers, a raw bar, pasta, seafood, and grilled steaks.
