Sullivan's Castle Island reopened for its 75th season on Saturday, Feb. 28. The seasonal South Boston concession's reopening followed on the heels of a significant nor'easter that dumped feet of snow onto New England and Greater Boston last week.

Sullivan's fans and Southie locals braved Saturday's chilly temperatures as lines formed outside the business in anticipation of its 10 a.m. opening. The concession lineup features lobster rolls, ice cream, hot dogs, fries, and raspberry lime Rickey.

Even a blizzard couldn't keep everyone's favorite Kayem hot dogs from being delivered for the season ahead, as evidenced by an Instagram post from Sullivan's on Thursday, Feb. 26.

While the seasonal destination is a favorite among Southies, Sullivan's has gained greater recognition since receiving a James Beard America's Classics Award for the Northeast region last year.

According to a Boston.com report, Sullivan's reopens at the end of February or the start of March and closes for the winter season in November each year. The Castle Island location is open daily.
