Panda Fest is returning to Boston, running May 15–17 at Ohiri Field at Harvard University, 65 N. Harvard St. in Boston. The event will take place in a larger venue and feature expanded offerings, according to a CityBiz report.
Panda Fest will run from Friday evening to Sunday evening: Friday, May 15, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, May 16, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, May 17, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On-site parking is available for $20 per vehicle; ridesharing is encouraged.
Panda Fest will feature diverse cuisines from across Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. The festival will feature more than 80 street-food vendors offering more than 200 dishes, a 20-plus vendor marketplace for artisan goods, and immersive cultural programming with traditional and contemporary performances.
Additional activities include lion dances, sugar painting, paper cutting, calligraphy, and K-pop dance performances.
Core attractions include panda-themed experiences, including a 15-foot inflatable panda, panda merchandise, interactive games, photo opportunities, and ongoing live entertainment and cultural demonstrations.
Ticketing options include the following:
- Early Bird tickets are available for $10, with a limited number of 1,000. These tickets will go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. Eastern through 10 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, March 15.
- General admission is $14, and VIP tickets are $35.
- Saturday tickets are priced $2 higher across all tiers.
The event is family-friendly. Tickets are required for children 6 and older; those younger than 6 can attend for free and will receive a complimentary Panda headband. Service animals only will be permitted. Outside food is allowed only for medical needs. Small bags are permitted, but smoking and vaping are prohibited.
