A new Chick-fil-A will open inside Boston's South Station at 700 Atlantic Ave. on the first level. Travelers will find it between CVS Pharmacy and McDonald's. The opening is expected in about four weeks, according to a Patch of Boston report.

“We look forward to serving the Boston community and sharing an opening date, once confirmed,” Chick-fil-A, Inc. wrote in a statement to the Patch. “Guests at Chick-fil-A South Station can look forward to enjoying Chick-fil-A's signature favorites, from the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich to breakfast options, salads, wraps and more.”

The South Street station location is one of several Chick-fil-A sites to open across Massachusetts. Officials said the company plans to open more by the end of 2027. Twelve to 15 additional locations are expected across Greater Boston and nearby areas, including Worcester, East Springfield, West Springfield, Somerset, and Dartmouth.

Chick-fil-A currently operates more than 25 locations in Massachusetts, including four in Boston. One of those is in Copley Square, and another is inside Boston Logan International Airport's Terminal A.

On Thursday, Feb. 26, Chick-fil-A will open in Worcester at 99 Stafford St. beginning at 6:30 a.m., the company previously announced.

Chick-fil-A's South Street Station opening comes amid broader commercial expansion at the site. The venue now includes a larger bus terminal, a new parking garage, and a mixed-use tower.

The 51-story South Station Tower is a $1.5 billion project that will house condos and offices, according to a CBS Boston WBZ-TV report.
