Chinese New Year celebrations are well underway in the Boston area. Festivities began on Tuesday, Feb. 17, and continue through Friday, Feb. 27. Those who want to commemorate the new year in grand style can enjoy Chinese New Year feasts at several Boston-area dining establishments.

This Lunar New Year's celebration season marks the beginning of the Year of the Horse, one of 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac.
