If you have items around your home in need of repair, an upcoming Framingham event is here to help.
The Framingham Repair Cafe, organized by the Rotary Club of Framingham with support from Transition Framingham, will take place on Sunday, March 1, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Scott Hall, 24 Vernon Street, in Framingham.
According to a MetroWest Daily News report, volunteers will help attendees repair a wide range of items, including clothing, lamps, small appliances, computers, bikes, toys, jewelry, sewing machines, and dull blades. A dedicated station will also be available for sharpening knives, scissors, and garden tools.
Attendees are encouraged to bring replacement parts for items as needed. Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided during the repair sessions.
Individuals interested in volunteering can sign up online. An RSVP is appreciated but not necessary. To RSVP, visit the event's Eventbrite page.
More information is available on the Transition Framingham website.
