OpenTable Lists 2 Massachusetts Restaurants Among the Most Romantic in US

Two Massachusetts dining spots have made their way onto OpenTable's 2026 Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in America list.

Sorellina in Boston and Pellana Steakhouse in Peabody were selected from OpenTable reviews of restaurants across the Bay State. OpenTable's 2026 list draws on analysis of more than 9 million reviews and dining metrics collected between December 2024 and November 2025.

Sorellina in Back Bay is a polished, intimate Italian‑Mediterranean venue known for seafood and pastas. A seasonal menu complements a formal atmosphere that makes the establishment highly sought after for special occasions.

Current menu items include broiled branzino with romanesco, green olives, and fennel pollen. Diners can also feast on sweet scallops with sweet potato, bacon, maitake mushroom, and marsala.

Pellana Steakhouse is a traditional North Shore steakhouse in Peabody. Its menu features prime beef, classic sides, and seafood, along with an extensive wine program offering pairings to complement the chops, steaks, and seafood.

OpenTable noted that diner favorites include filet mignon, prime New York sirloin, and seared scallops with lobster-corn and scallion risotto. 

Low lighting and generously sized interior dining spaces make Pellana a place to enjoy a hearty, leisurely dinner with a loved one.
