The event marks its 36th year of connecting families with New Hampshire's wildlife resources and outdoor traditions. According to a news release for the event, attendees can participate in hands-on activities such as archery, casting, fly-tying, and BB gun shooting, as well as craft activities for children.
Visitors can explore educational exhibits from environmental and conservation groups, see live animals including large fish and trained falcons, and watch retriever dogs in action.
Additionally, a food truck alley will offer a variety of dining options for attendees.
The festival is hosted by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and presented by the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire. More information about Discover Wild New Hampshire Day will be available on the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department website.
