Craft Food Halls, known for its self-service beer taps, may open a new location in downtown Boston.
The Boston Restaurant Talk blog cited a licensing board hearing page within the City of Boston's website that stated the proposed site at One Post Office Square would feature a single large ground-floor room with multiple dining and seating areas and a proposed closing time of 2 a.m.
If approved, Craft Food Halls would expand beyond its current Eastern Massachusetts footprint, which already includes Allston-Brighton, Cambridge, Waltham, and Lexington.
According to its website, Craft Food Halls claims to use their "expertise in 'Taste Shifting, Purpose Shifting, and Mood Shifting' to continuously walk in Love, create positive Energy for our guests, and develop differentiated Food as the nation's first Sous Vide Food Hall.”
No further details on the proposal were available as of Wednesday, Jan. 29.
