Winter in Chestnut Hill is about to get a lot sweeter. On Saturday, February 7, dessert lovers are invited to indulge at Sweets at The Street, a community dessert crawl featuring treats from some of the area’s most popular eateries. The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. at The Street Chestnut Hill, and this year’s festivities will once again support the Newton Food Pantry.

Now in its second year, Sweets at The Street offers a playful and philanthropic twist on weekend plans. Participants can take a leisurely stroll through the open-air shopping destination, savoring complimentary desserts from local favorites such as Aquitaine, Bianca, and Van Leeuwen. Along the way, guests will collect stamps on an event punch card that can be redeemed at each stop — one for every delicious bite.

This year’s lineup includes Aquitaine’s oatmeal golden raisin cookies, Bianca’s chocolate chip cookies, mini tiramisu from Davio’s, bite-sized cupcakes from Mia’s Bakery, gluten- and dairy-free mini cookies from The Half Cookie, and candy from The Sweetish Fish. To cap off the crawl, Van Leeuwen will be serving mini scoops of ice cream topped just the way guests like them.

The event is designed to be relaxed and flexible, welcoming visitors to drop in at any time during the two-hour window. All ticket sales benefit the Newton Food Pantry, which has supported local families with nutritious food and necessities for more than four decades. Tickets cost $12.23 and include a built-in donation to the pantry.

To join in, attendees can purchase tickets and access special offers through The Street Insider App. Upon arrival, guests will check in at the event cart outside Showcase SuperLux and Davio’s to collect their punch cards and start their sugary adventure.

Located at 55 Boylston Street, The Street Chestnut Hill has become one of Greater Boston’s most vibrant lifestyle destinations, home to more than 60 shops, restaurants, and community spaces. Known for its mix of national brands and local gems, the property regularly hosts events that blend food, fun, and philanthropy.

For those looking to turn a winter afternoon into something a little more indulgent, Sweets at The Street offers the perfect excuse — dessert with a side of generosity.

More information and tickets are available at The Street Chestnut Hill’s event page or through The Street Insider App.
