Boston Public Market is adding a bold new flavor to its lineup. Beginning in spring 2026, the downtown Boston destination will welcome Marzae Cellar + Provisions, a new tasting room and retail concept from Marzae, Massachusetts’ first and only natural winery.

Founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife duo Eliot Martin and Katie Luczai, Marzae has made waves for its natural wines crafted from New England-grown grapes. The local winery quickly drew praise from sommeliers and restaurant buyers alike, earning recognition from Wine Enthusiast and features on wine lists across the country.

Now, the couple is bringing their vineyard vision to 100 Hanover Street, turning Boston Public Market’s largest retail space into an urban tasting room that blends hospitality, sustainability, and local pride.

The new spot, called Marzae Cellar + Provisions, will invite visitors to sip wines, aperitifs, and non-alcoholic beverages on tap or grab a bottle to bring home. The space will double as a gathering place, offering an approachable counter-service menu by day and a chef-driven “Kitchen Counter” dinner experience by night.

Beyond what’s in the glass, sustainability is front and center. Most of Marzae’s wines will be served on draft—a rarity in the region—which cuts down on packaging waste and lowers their carbon footprint. A refillable growler membership program will also let guests take home their favorite wines in reusable containers, part of Marzae’s ongoing effort to make responsible drinking not just easy but enjoyable.

Retail shelves will highlight not only Marzae merchandise but also carefully curated food and lifestyle products from regional makers, strengthening the market’s connection to local producers.

“Boston Public Market has always been about creating opportunities for local producers to grow while staying rooted in their values,” said Cheryl Cronin, CEO of Boston Public Market. “Marzae embodies that spirit. Their commitment to New England agriculture, environmental stewardship, and community-building makes them a natural fit.”

The opening will coincide with Marzae’s newest venture, Off Piste Ferments, a non-alcoholic brand that expands beverage options for all visitors. And come June, the winery will break ground on Massachusetts’ first regeneratively farmed vineyard in Haverhill, signaling another milestone for the state’s growing wine scene.

Since its start, Boston Public Market has been home to more than 30 local food and craft producers under one roof, all with one shared mission: keep New England’s food culture thriving. Marzae’s upcoming debut is poised to pour a fresh, flavorful twist into that tradition—one glass (or growler) at a time.
