Andover Winterfest Returns Feb. 1 With Ice Fishing Derby, Fire Rescue Demo

Winterfest is making its return to Pomps Pond in Andover on Sunday, Feb. 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Winterfest showcases Andover's outdoor spaces and educates attendees on winter safety, local wildlife, and recreational opportunities.

According to a Patch of Andover report, planned family-friendly activities include an ice-fishing derby, a live ice-rescue demonstration by Andover Fire Rescue, guided hikes around Pomps Pond, wildlife-tracking demonstrations, and other winter-themed activities.

Organized by Andover Recreation and Andover Conservation, Winterfest is free to attend. Attendees should dress warmly for the event.
