'Freeze the Day' Polar Plunge
Mashpee's "Freeze the Day" Polar Plunge at Mashpee Wakeby Pond in Attaquin Park offers a $25 per-person registration cost. Day-of registration will take place at Naukabout Brewery from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with the polar plunge happening at 11 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Mashpee.
Monument Beach Polar Plunge
Monument Beach in Bourne will stage its 28th annual polar plunge at noon. Registration is $25; additional donations are welcome and will support the Bourne Food Pantry.
Onset Bay Polar Plunge
Onset Bay's polar plunge at noon includes merchandise, coffee, food trucks, and music. Participation is free; donations to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition are welcome. Anyone who makes a minimum $5 donation will receive a free mystery merch bag.
Polar Plunge at Red River Beach
Harwich will host a New Year's Day polar plunge at Red River Beach starting at 10 a.m. Donations are welcome; no registration is required. Harwich Elementary's PTO and the Harwich Recreation Fund are teaming up for this effort.
Provincetown Polar Bear Plunge
Provincetown's 10th annual Polar Bear Plunge features hot coffee at 11 a.m. and a noon plunge into Provincetown Harbor. Participants will pay $65 for individual registrations, which support the Center for Coastal Studies.
Yarmouth Polar Plunge
Yarmouth's polar plunge at Bass River Beach (Smugglers Beach) runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The $25 entry fee benefits the Yarmouth Senior Center through The Friends of the Council on Aging.
