Free Holiday Movies at Patriot Cinemas to Support Hingham Food Pantry

Patriot Cinemas at the Hingham Shipyard will offer free Holiday Movie Saturdays throughout the remainder of the holiday season, as well as a Christmas Eve screening at 11 a.m.

Families and film lovers are invited to enjoy the festive movies on the big screen at no cost. On Saturday, Dec. 20, attendees can catch The Polar Express and watch the holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

According to a report by The (Hingham) Anchor, the cinema is partnering with the Hingham Food Pantry this year. Cinema officials are encouraging attendees to bring nonperishable food to the screenings to aid local families. Food donations collected at the screenings will be delivered to the Hingham Food Pantry to help those facing food insecurity.
