Patriot Place announced that Phoenix Theatres will renovate and open a flagship location in Foxborough next year. The newly renovated theater will replace the current Showcase Cinema at Patriot Place.

Phoenix Theatres officials stated that renovations will begin in January, with the new theater slated to open in summer 2026.

“There's nothing quite like a night out at the movies, and we're thrilled to team up with Phoenix Theatres to bring their premium theatre experience to Patriot Place,” said Brian Earley, vice president and general manager of Patriot Place, in a statement shared with NBC 10 News WJAR. “Their multimillion-dollar investment will revitalize our theatre space with immersive sound, heated reclining seats, crystal-clear projection, and more.”

Every auditorium in the theater complex will feature Dolby ATMOS immersive sound, marketed as the first of its kind in New England. The renovated venue will also offer amenities such as heated reclining seats, 4K Christie laser projection, and self-serve beverage and butter stations.

According to NBC 10, Phoenix Theatres will make Patriot Place its 93rd location for the company's theater operations.
