Providence is hosting a free, pet-friendly Holiday Paws Downtown Block Pawty to benefit the Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL).
The event will take place on Sunday, Dec. 7, from noon to 4 p.m. along Westminster and Aborn streets in downtown Providence.
Activities will include photos with Santa, pup cups and treats, pet-friendly gifts, and various dog-focused activities, with proceeds supporting PARL. Admission is free, but individuals are asked to RSVP through Eventbrite.
The Block Pawty is part of Providence's PVD Holiday Festival Weekend, running Thursday, Dec. 4, through Sunday, Dec. 7. This event will feature the Illuminate PVD Holiday Stroll, the Providence City Hall tree lighting, and a Downcity Holiday Market.
