The Christmas Stroll is returning to downtown Haverhill on Friday, Dec. 5, with festive activities. Events will include scavenger hunts, a holiday art market, entertainment, and a tree lighting ceremony in Washington Square off Merrimack Street.
Kids can join the Find the Elf Hunt across downtown businesses, while adults can sample signature holiday cocktails at participating restaurants.
Here's a look at the schedule of activities:
- Kids scavenger hunt and Santa visits throughout downtown: 4:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.
- Holiday market at the Garibaldi Club: 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
- Tree lighting in Washington Square: 6:30 p.m.
- Adult scavenger hunt for signature holiday cocktails throughout downtown: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Parking will be free on Friday, Dec. 5, from 4-8 p.m. in all city-managed parking lots and on-street parking in the downtown area.
