On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the Lowell Spinners introduced Kevin Graber as the new manager of the expansion Lowell Spinners of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.

“I get to have a pro baseball-type experience, but not the 365-days-a-year pro experience,” said Graber in a statement shared with The Eagle-Tribune. “Here, I get to have my cake and eat it too. I still get to do all the things I like doing at Phillips Andover [where he came to work a year ago], and I get to have this awesome experience with the Spinners. It's just a perfect situation.”

During a press conference, co-owners John Croteau and Marc Deschenes announced the team name, new look, and Graber as the new manager.

About Kevin Graber

Born and raised in Albany, New York, Graber originally played college baseball at Winthrop University, a Division I school, before transferring to The College of Saint Rose. He earned first-team all-conference honors twice and captained the Golden Knights. He played professionally in Australia and for the Prairie League's Southern Minnesota Stars, according to The Eagle-Tribune.

Graber has been inducted into four Hall of Fames: the New York Baseball Club in 1994, the College of Saint Rose in 2014, the Amsterdam Mohawks in 2016, and the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame in 2024.
