The Walking Dead: Dead City is filming again in Worcester during the week of Nov. 17. The show's production crew is busy shooting scenes for the series' third season.
According to a Patch of Worcester report, multiple roads were closed on Monday, Nov. 17, and Tuesday, Nov. 18, to accommodate filming. These closures included portions of Mechanic Street, Norwich Street, Commercial Street, Main Street, Foster Street, and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The Worcester film crew has transformed parts of the city into an apocalyptic setting reminiscent of New York City.
Filming in September and October was not the first time the popular AMC zombie show had been filmed in Worcester. The Walking Dead: Dead City filmed scenes for its second season in the city in 2024.
