The New Hampshire State Police are partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign to collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys to children in need this holiday season.
Troopers will be at the Target on Ash Brook Road in Keene on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., collecting new, unwrapped toys for children in need. The Keene stop is part of a statewide series of “fill the cruiser” events. It is the only local opportunity for area residents to donate in person, according to a My Keene Now report.
In addition to the Keene event, State Police are also holding collections at other locations throughout New Hampshire, such as malls, Walmarts, and hospitals, in partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. The complete campaign runs through Friday, Dec. 12. Additional drop-off sites will be available at State Police barracks outside the region.
Residents who want to ship their toy donations can do so via Amazon to the following address:
Michal Sventek, PIO, NHSP – Operations Bureau, 33 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03305.
