Trot Off That Thanksgiving Dinner

Join local turkey trots in Marlborough and North Attleboro on Sunday, Nov. 30. Both events offer 5-mile, 10-mile, and 5K routes, respectively. Marlborough's free race will start at 9 a.m. at Ghiloni Park, and participants can sign up to walk or run for either 5 or 10 miles. North Attleboro's 5K, which costs $35 per person, will start at the town hall at 11 a.m.

Visit Snowport

Snowport lights up the Boston Seaport with an outdoor winter festival featuring a holiday market, gift options, and festive displays. Snowport will be open daily at 100 Seaport Blvd. from Friday, Nov. 7, through Sunday, Dec. 28, excluding Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 27 and Christmas Day on Dec. 25.

Enjoy a 'Nutcracker' Performance

The Boston Ballet will perform The Nutcracker at Citizens Opera House. It will be performed every day, except on Mondays, from Friday, Nov. 28, through Sunday, Dec. 28, with show times at 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday or 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every other day. Tickets start at $40 and go up to $365.
