Get ready to laugh, Providence. The Lil Rhody Laugh Riot, the region's largest comedy festival, is coming to the area March 26 to March 29, 2026. Tickets went on sale on Friday, Nov. 7.

The event lineup includes John Mulaney, Chelsea Handler, Jay Pharoah, Marc Maron, Andrew Schulz, Bob the Drag Queen, and others. More artists will be added as the festival draws closer.

Venues for the 2026 Lil Rhody Laugh Riot include the city's Veterans Memorial Auditorium (aka The VETS), the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), Rhode Island Comedy Connection, and the newly renovated Uptown Theater (formerly The Columbus).

Boston.com shared the following schedule lineup as it exists as of Friday, Nov. 7:

  • Netflix talk show host John Mulaney at the PPAC on March 27
  • Author and comedian Chelsea Handler at The VETS on March 28
  • Former Saturday Night Live actor and cast member Jay Pharoah at the Rhode Island Comedy Connection from March 27–29
  • Podcaster Marc Maron at the Uptown Theater on March 28

Additional acts will be held at The VETS, Uptown Theater, and other venues from March 26–29.

Confirmed acts as of Nov. 7 also include Bob the Drag Queen, Monét X Change, Andrew Santino, Zarna Garg, and Mark Normand performing at The VETS, with Andrew Schulz at the PPAC and Demetri Martin at the Uptown Theater, plus more to be announced.

According to Boston.com, the 2024 edition of the festival attracted approximately 18,000 attendees for about 30 shows across 10 venues.
