The Plymouth Public Library Foundation is marking the 20th anniversary of its popular Taste of the Town fundraiser held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Plimoth Patuxet Museum. Tickets are available for purchase online.

According to the Foundation's Facebook event announcement, this year's Taste of the Town will feature food from 22 participating restaurants, including the following:

  • Cake Batter Bakery
  • Cancun Express
  • Cork & Table
  • East Bay Grill
  • G Pub
  • Jolly Bean Cafe
  • Lobster Love & Early Bird Cafe
  • Mia's Catering
  • Plentiful Catering/Plimoth Patuxet
  • Plimoth General Store
  • Rye Tavern
  • Salt of the Earth Catering
  • Tulip Hospitality
  • The Tasty & Honey Baby
  • The Turmeric House
  • Wood's Seafood

More than 100 wines will be available for sampling courtesy of Pioppi's Package Store.

The Foundation has partnered with several of the Plymouth community's food and wine purveyors to offer fine wines and sumptuous fare in support of the library. 

According to the event's website, proceeds from Taste of the Town fund cultural and enrichment programming, rotating art shows, and technology for the library's literacy program.
