Anna’s Taqueria Continues Expansion With New Downtown Crossing Location

Anna's Taqueria is greeting taco-loving customers in the Boston area at a new location this week.

On Tuesday, Oct. 21, Anna's announced the opening of its 84 Summer St. location in Boston's Downtown Crossing neighborhood.

Located on the corner of Devonshire and Summer streets, the Downtown Crossing location features a 1,800-square-foot dining area with counters, tables, and booths for 49 guests.

To celebrate the new opening and the taqueria's 30th anniversary, Anna's Summer Street location offered its famous 12-inch "super" burritos on opening day at the original 1995 price of $3.50 for dine-in customers.

According to a Patch of Boston report, Anna's Taqueria has opened several new locations during the past year. One opened in Woburn in November 2024. Another opened on Northeastern University's campus in February, and a third opened in Natick in May. 

Additional locations are planned for Legacy Place in Dedham and in South Boston. Anna's will also debut a Cranston, Rhode Island, taqueria before the end of the year.
