Billerica Community Farmers Market Named No. 1 in Massachusetts

The Billerica Community Farmers Market has been recognized as the top farmers market in Massachusetts and ranked among the best in the Northeast. Billerica's farmers market secured the No. 1 spot in the 2025 America's Farmers Market Celebration for the fourth consecutive year.

The 2025 America's Farmers Market Celebration, held from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, invited the public to vote online for their favorite farmers market.

Founded in March 2021 by a coalition of advocates, the market aims to promote community access to healthy food and support local farmers and small businesses.  

In a statement shared with The (Lowell) Sun, market president Crystal Thomas expressed gratitude for the community support. She noted that the market now features up to 40 vendors and has become a dynamic community hub for residents.

Occupying a new spot at 793 Boston Road in Billerica, the market features a variety of vendors, farms, crafters, community organizations, food trucks, entertainment, and activities for children. It ran this year from June 16 to Sept. 29.
