The Middleborough Police Department is conducting a toiletries drive through the end of October to aid survivors of domestic violence and their families.

According to a NemasketWeektoday.com report, this initiative is part of an annual effort organized by the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Members of the public can drop off items at the police department's front lobby at 350 Wood St. All donations should be new, unused, and unexpired. Suggested donation items include the following: 

  • Body wash
  • Brushes
  • Combs
  • Cosmetics
  • Deodorant
  • Diapers
  • Disposable razors
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Floss
  • Hair scrunchies
  • Lip balm
  • Lotion
  • Mouthwash
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste

Donations of travel-size products are especially encouraged.
