FiDO Pizza has opened in the Allston Labworks building. It's the first time that Traveler Street Hospitality, known for South End spots like Bar Mezzana and Shore Leave, has launched a restaurant outside its usual neighborhoods. FiDO Pizza is the group's first pizza establishment.

Located at 250 Western Ave. in Allston, the restaurant aims to operate as a versatile neighborhood hangout where families, couples, and young professionals can relax and enjoy a menu featuring pizza, salads, and cocktails.

Highlights of the menu include seasonal specials such as butternut squash pizza and spicy options like the Doc, topped with soppressata, garlic honey, chiles, and dollops of whipped ricotta.

In addition to crafting pizzas, FiDO Pizza offers appetizers such as spicy wings and baked clams with chorizo and breadcrumbs. Salads include classic Caesar salad and the Pizza Shop Chopped salad, featuring salami, cheese, and chickpeas.

FiDO offers a diverse cocktail list inspired by pizza flavors. Customers can find unique drinks such as the Pepperoni Pizza-Groni, made with booze steeped in sausages, along with mocktails. Beers include Reissdorf Kolsch and wines from regions such as Austria and Sardinia.

Chocolate budino or a slice of olive oil cake makes a delicious ending to your meal.

Pricing at FiDO ranges from $5 to $24 for appetizers, $18 to $26 for pizza, $22 to $24 for large plates, $15 to $20 for cocktails, and $10 for desserts.

FiDO Pizza is open Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. View menus on the restaurant's website or call 617-420-3436 for more information.
