Two Massachusetts restaurants have been recognized in “The Resy 100” list. This recognition celebrates the top 100 U.S. establishments known for their community impact and exceptional cuisine.

Baleia, a Portuguese restaurant in Boston, ranked No. 25. Reviewers praised Baleia for its bold flavors and dishes inspired by New England and Portugal, such as steamed baby clams in vinho verde and salt cod bolinhos.

Myers + Chang, also in Boston, ranked No. 100. The restaurant was heralded for its fusion of New American and Asian cuisines. Popular dishes include jumbo prawns with XO caramel and dan dan noodles with wild boar and pickled mustard greens.

According to a Patch Across Massachusetts report, Resy, an online restaurant reservation service that represents approximately 10,000 establishments across the nation, explained that “The Resy 100” is a “curation of restaurants that thrill us, that serve exceptional food that alternately might be comforting or daring, traditional or completely new.

“These are places that make us want to return again and again, and define the best of our dining culture today,” the company said with the release of the rankings. “They are, simply, excellent and cherished. They delight their communities and make them better.”
