Kyle Dumont, who previously operated the top-performing Edible Arrangements in Nashua, is now focusing on growing a new business in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In August, Dumont opened the first Nothing Bundt Cakes store in Concord at 273 Loudon Road.

“With Edible, I only owned one location. That was the type of brand where you only own one, but I was always hungry for more, and I knew I could handle the multi-unit development deal,” he said in a statement to the Concord Monitor. “It ended up being a phenomenal decision.”

The Concord store's grand opening at the beginning of September featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Gov. Kelly Ayotte and Concord Mayor Byron Champlin. According to the Concord Monitor, the grand opening was part of a “community appreciation day” for first responders and public servants.

Additionally, Dumont donated 20% of all the store's sales during the grand opening week to Easterseals. On Saturday, Sept. 13, Nothing Bundt Cakes gave customers 300 confetti-flavored individual servings of cake, also known as bundletts.

The Concord location is the first of six that Dumont anticipates opening in the two states. As he explained to the Concord Monitor, Dumont plans to open stores in Manchester and Nashua within the next year. Within the next three to five years, he plans to bring three new locations to Massachusetts.

“We can't get them open fast enough,” he stated. “People are knocking down the door.”

The Concord location, located at 273 Loudon Road, is open daily and offers delivery, pickup, and catering services. Visit the Nothing Bundt Cakes Concord store's website for more information.
