Brick Street Bagels has gained some newfound fame after a musical group endorsed the company.
The bakery received high praise from the musical group Haim, who referred to the bagels as “bomb bagels. Amazing bagels” during a recent interview, Boston.com reported. The band members shared their positive experience and reminisced about visiting Brick Street Bagels while in Boston. Sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim said the shop had a lively, pop-up atmosphere with a “line out the door.”
The group members were also quick to thank Boston for providing them with hospitality. “I love Boston so much,” Haim said.
Boston.com noted that Alana Haim spent time in Boston last fall while she was filming The Drama. The upcoming A24 release stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.
Founded in 2022 by Jordan Renouf, the bakery quickly gained popularity in Boston for its bagels. Renowned by Bostonians for the fresh, crunchy exterior with a warm interior, the bagels are available at the Brick Street Bagels South End location and at pop-ups for customers who preorder them online.
Building on this success, Brick Street Bagels plans to open a permanent location in South Boston, where it will serve fresh bagels, open-faced sandwiches, coffee, and other offerings.
